  • Floral Notes

The English bluebell carpets the woodland floor with its pretty blue flowers from April to May. In the old English 'Calendar of Flowers' it is dedicated to St. George, the patron saint of England, whose feast day falls on 23rd April. The bluebell is a symbol of constancy, gratitude, luck, kindness and everlasting love. As well as being a favourite flower of Anne Brontë, it is also said to be a favourite of the fairies!

The bluebell is the birthday flower for those born on 30th September.
