Floral Notes
Rosa ‘Félicité Perpétue’ was bred in 1827 by the famous rose breeder Henri Antoine Jacques (1782-1866), whose patron was King Louis Philippe I of France.
Its name serves as a reminder of two North African Christian martyrs, Felicity, a noblewoman, and Perpetua, a slave. These two young mothers formed a strong bond and died for their faith in the Carthage arena.
Pale pink roses are a symbol of happiness, everlasting joy, youthfulness and love. They convey messages of friendship, thankfulness and affection.
Roses are the flowers traditionally given for a 15th wedding anniversary.
